Over the years, cylinder heads and/or valves have commonly been swapped from one head or engine to another on 1275 engines, so it is quite easy to become confused which valve to order. If you are aware that the head has been worked on previously, it may have different valves or undersize if seats have been altered. Unless you are 100% sure what valve is fitted to your cylinder head, it would be a good idea to remove a valve for accurate measurement.
